Activities

-Every semester you get a free game of bowling at the Wilkinson Student Center bowling alley with your student ID. You can also play pool for free with student ID.

-There is a neat museum located north of campus by the Marriot Center. It is the Bean Museum and it is filled with many animals. Must see at least once.

- The Dollar theatre - with student ID movies cost a Dollar, tuesday night is discount night

- Muse Music and Velour on 135 N Universty Ave. Good (and sometimes not good, but fun to make fun of) local music. Muse also has free movies and other events. Both have open mic nights if you want to write a song about how someone broke up with you and preform it to accepting crowds.

- Provo River Trail. This is a great path for a walk or a bike ride. Never go alone though!

- Stewart Cascades. If you have a ride this is a great easy hike with a waterfall reward at the end. Drive up to Sundance in Provo Canyon. You will pass Sundance on your left. Drive about 3 miles until you have to pay a small fee for the Alpine Loop. Parking is to the left after the pay booth. Stay to the left trail head entrances unless you want to hike to the top of Timpanogos.

- Comedy in Provo- You have several (clean) options. BYU has three clubs for various forms of comedy. You have the infamous Divine Comedy (BYU’s Saturday Night Live), Laugh Out Loud (LOL, BYU’s version of Who’s Line Is It Anyway?), and HumorU (BYU’s version of stand-up). These events happen often and are very cheap (between $2-5 for tickets). You can also attend Comedy Sportz which is an even more professional improv comedy club. (Thursday nights are discounted!).

-Farmers Markets on Saturday during the summer on Center Street and 500 west from 9 to 2
